The method emphasizes the student's listening mode instead of cognitive thinking mode.<\/p><p>Music theory is integrated into the study material, and starting studies do not require previous music studies. Only one voice is needed for the exercises in the first part of the book, after which the learning material becomes progressively more difficult.<\/p><p>The learning material focuses on four essential areas of jazz pedagogy, which pedagogues and conductors preparing concerts and programs often have to leave less attention;<\/p><ul><li>1. Jazz style<\/li><li>2. Jazz theory<\/li><li>3. Jazz history<\/li><li>4. Improvisation<\/li><\/ul><p>The material follows jazz history chronologically, and the texts with listening references are also suitable as teaching material for music history and musicology.<\/p><p>The method is suitable for both group and solo study. Although the Arkadics\u00ae training method is primarily intended for Big Bands, the material is also suitable for various Combos, Jazz Ensambles, wind and string orchestras, and vocal ensembles.<\/p><p>The Arkadics\u00ae training method was introduced in 1983, and over the decades Markku Renko has improved and updated the material to its current form.<\/p><p>The Arkadics\u00ae training method is protected by trademark and copyright.
